Chapter 4: First Battle

Eren attacks the Colossal Titan, which vanishes in a burst of steam after breaching Trost's gate. The newly graduated trainees are sent into battle due to a shortage of soldiers, and Mikasa is assigned to the elite rear guard, apart from Eren. Eren's squad confidently moves out as the middle guard, but its members are eaten one by one. When a Titan seizes Armin, Eren saves him by throwing him out of its mouth, losing a leg and being swallowed himself.
