Chapter 3: Night of the Disbanding Ceremony

The 104th trainees graduate and must choose a military branch; many of the top ten want the Military Police so they can live safely in the interior. Eren, however, is set on joining the Survey Corps, and Mikasa and Armin make the same choice. A talk with Hannes stirs Eren's memories of his father's mysterious disappearance. The next day in Trost, amid high spirits among the new soldiers, the Colossal Titan reappears over the wall just as it did five years earlier.
