Chapter 16: Necessity

Eren keeps failing the balance test and seeks advice, first from Jean and Connie and then from Reiner and Bertolt. Reiner and Bertolt explain that their village was attacked by Titans, and Reiner encourages Eren. On his retry Eren falls again, but Shadis has him swap belts and discovers his was broken. Eren passes, and Shadis privately reflects that Grisha's son has become a soldier.
