Chapter 138: A Long Dream

Falco lands at Fort Salta, but the centipede-like creature that emerged from the Founder is still alive, and so is Eren. The centipede releases a gas that turns the surrounding Eldians into Titans, including Jean, Connie, Gabi and the Warriors' families, while Levi gets Mikasa and Pieck to safety on Falco. Mikasa relives in the paths a life in which she ran away with Eren from the war, where he asked her to forget him when he died. Resolving not to forget him, she puts on her scarf, asks Falco and Levi to take her to the mouth of Eren's Titan and, when Levi blasts an opening, goes inside, beheads him and gives him a farewell kiss.
