Chapter 9: The Beating of a Heart Can Be Heard

Inside the HQ, Armin devises a plan to kill the seven Titans in the supply room: distract them with gunfire from a lift while seven trainees strike their napes from the ceiling. Sasha and Connie miss, but Mikasa and Annie save them. After refilling their gas, the trainees head out and see the Abnormal Titan collapse from exhaustion. Eren emerges from its nape, and Mikasa embraces him in tears upon hearing his heartbeat.
