While they wait, Bertolt's feelings for Annie come up. Seeing the Survey Corps' flares approaching, Reiner and Bertolt tie up Eren and prepare to flee. Ymir demands to take Historia with them, and Reiner transforms; Ymir catches Historia in her mouth and climbs onto the Armored Titan's back. Meanwhile, Hannes vows to bring Eren back.
