Chapter 25: Bite

At the edge of the forest, Jean and Armin wonder about Erwin's orders. Inside, the Female Titan chases Levi's squad and kills soldiers who try to stop her, while Levi orders the squad to keep riding. Eren wants to transform and fight, and Levi tells him to choose the option he will regret least. Eren recalls an earlier experiment in which he failed to transform, until later a Titan arm sprouted as he reached for a teaspoon.
