The team regroups on Falco's flying Jaw Titan and decides to go back for Armin and Pieck, splitting into two teams. Reiner and Jean land near the Founder's head, where Pieck breaks free and joins the fight to buy time for Jean to reach the detonator. Annie, Mikasa and Connie chase the Titan that swallowed Armin, the only one running away from them. Inside the Titan, Armin realizes he is in the paths and is not alone: Zeke is also there, saying he too has been swallowed by Ymir Fritz.
