Chapter 131: The Rumbling

The Wall Titans continue their destructive advance; Ramzi and his brother Halil flee a coastal town with a crowd of refugees, but they are surrounded and crushed. Eren recalls meeting Ramzi a year earlier and his inability to change the future, and relives his childhood with Armin dreaming of the outside world, which his younger self equates with freedom. Through the paths he asks Armin for his opinion. Back on the ship to Odiha, Annie snaps Armin out of it and he confesses his feelings for her; he calls himself a monster, but holds on to hope for the better world they dreamed of.
