Chapter 114: Sole Salvation

Zeke recalls his childhood in the Liberio internment zone, when his parents, Grisha and Dina, pressured him to be part of their plan to restore Eldia. To save his grandparents, he turned them in to the authorities, and Tom Ksaver, a Titan researcher and holder of the Beast Titan, became his friend and father figure. Ksaver revealed his own past and passed on the idea that Eldians should never be born. As his memories end, Zeke triggers the Thunder Spear and the blast catches Levi by surprise.
