The central government declares the Survey Corps outlaws and tries to capture Eren and Historia. Kenny Ackerman's Anti-Personnel Control Squad, armed with special gear, hunts the scouts. Levi and his squad are forced to kill other humans. Meanwhile, Erwin and Zackly organize a bloodless coup that overthrows the false king.

The Corps outlawed
After Pastor Nick's death at the hands of the Central Military Police, the government orders Eren and Historia handed over and suspends the Corps.
Kenny's ambush
In Trost, the Anti-Personnel Control Squad attacks. Kenny kills Nifa and Levi barely escapes; Eren and Historia are kidnapped.
Erwin on trial
Erwin is condemned, but false news of an invasion reveals that the nobility thinks only of itself. Zackly seizes power.
Toward the chapel
Levi and the squad track Rod Reiss and Kenny to the Reiss chapel, where Eren and Historia are being taken.
